Books The Lone Ranger and Tonto Fist Fight in Heaven Sherman Alexie This book is a great book for teenagers and adults alike because it points out how stupid stereotypes are. It's a book of short stories about two boys, Victor Joseph and Thomas Builds-the-fire, who grew up on the Cort d'Alane indian Reservation. It's kind of humorous in the way it portrays the Nativa Americans and the white men. I really reccommend this book. Also, if you would rather, the movie Smoke Signals is based on a few stories from this book, but as always, the book is better than the movie. Submitted by Jane from Michigan | |

Music POE Haunted (Atlantic Records) 4 stars! This CD features a track called WILD, which appears in the Blair Witch 2 movie...the entire album has an eerie overtone to it. Poe somehow manages to rock out while keeping a haunting (if you will) quality to the music. A lyrical theme throughout the record is her dealing with her dad... their relationship, her feelings and family events are all weaved into the songs on the CD. It's a very compelling album. Another standout track is HAUNTED. Submitted by: Bella from Cali |
